Useful business apps you’ll need this year
As our everyday lives become more and more integrated with the digital realm, our business practices are moving the same way. It’s evident that downloadable applications make our lives easier, but how about some apps that make business tasks easier?
HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes gives six examples of excellent business apps that do just that. Here are just a few:
- Grab a cup of coffee with your LinkedIn connections offline with Here on Biz, deemed by Inc. as the location awareness app that LinkedIn is missing. This iPhone app detects the location of your business contacts in real time and provides a texting function for easy offline meet-ups. Check in via Here on Biz at conferences, see who else is in attendance, and benefit from face-to-face business opportunities.
- ÜberConference helps you visualize speakers during a conference call by matching each person’s voice to their respective name and photo, as well as their social media profiles that are picked up from your address book. The dashboard shows who’s speaking when and even allows for selective muting, “earmuffing,” or hanging up. Another great feature: Calls can be recorded as mp3s.
- Track and post to all of your company’s social profiles with HootSuite, an online dashboard that displays activity from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and so on, in a single place. It’s a useful app that helps you get analytics on your company’s views, clicks and ROI generation.
If your company uses any helpful business apps, we’d love to hear your thoughts on them – comment below and share your experience!
